My Role
As a FullStack developer at Open Groupe, I mainly work for the iMSA client. First in the "Dev Digit" team and since summer 2022 in the SST team (Occupational Health and Safety).
My expertise covers the entire development cycle, from design to production deployment.
Main Responsibilities
- Backend Development - Maintenance and evolution of legacy applications, implementation of new apps for internal services. Technologies: Java 6/8/21, JBoss 4 and 7 application servers, SOAP and REST web services, Informix and PostgreSQL databases.
- Frontend Development - Modern user interfaces with Angular and TypeScript; Struts for legacy applications
- CI/CD - Using Git/Gitlab and Jenkins for testing and production deployment
- Leadership - I am the team leader of my team and my role is to be the liaison between Open and iMSA
Notable Projects
As mentioned above, I mainly work for iMSA (IT department of the Agricultural Social Mutual). I worked in the "Dev Digit" team which was responsible for maintaining old and new Java applications in the DSIM Health department. From summer 2022, I then joined the SST team to maintain and evolve the main SST application. This application is used by occupational health and safety staff (doctors, nurses and fund agents affiliated with this department).
I am also the team leader on the Open side, a role in which I act as liaison between the client and my hierarchy, as well as between the team and management.
Skills Developed
This experience has strengthened my skills in code analysis, agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), and client communication. I have also obtained several technical certifications during this period.
